The Indian Springs Thunderbirds lost against the Founders Classical Academy Centurions back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Indian Springs had to suffer through a rough 63-26 loss at the hands of Founders Classical Academy. Indian Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Founders Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Bruning, who scored 14 points. The game was Bruning's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Roberts, who scored 12 points.
Indian Springs now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Founders Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
After both having extra time off, Indian Springs and Sandy Valley will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Founders Classical Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laughlin at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
