The Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes won against the Veritas Christian Eagles last Friday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Sunrise Christian Academy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Veritas Christian 58-18 on the road. The result was nothing new for Sunrise Christian Academy, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Taiton Schmidt was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 74 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Carson Roberts also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The win (which was Sunrise Christian Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Veritas Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Sunrise Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Abundant Life at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Veritas Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
