Even though the Logos Prep Academy Lions have not done well against the Faith West Academy Eagles recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Logos Prep Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Faith West Academy 30-28. For Logos Prep Academy, this counts as revenge for the 58-49 defeat Faith West Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2016.
Logos Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nolan Bromberg, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Mason Allen, who scored 11 points.
Logos Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Faith West Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Logos Prep Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face CHSA HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for Faith West Academy, they will square off against San Marcos HomeSchool at TBD on Friday.
