Bryson Beaver Delivers Best Effort of Season
Vista Murrieta came up short on Friday despite Bryson Beaver delivering his best game to date. Beaver threw for 491 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Vista Murrieta is 5-1 when Beaver posts 300 or more passing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.
If history really does repeat itself, Beaver might just drop another big game when he faces off against Norco on Thursday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Beaver saw the Cougars), he threw for 259 yards and five touchdowns.

His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
