Anchor Bay had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Capac Chiefs. The Tars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Anchor Bay pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Capac, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Anchor Bay and Capac will both be playing Algonac the next time they take the field. The Chiefs will head out to face the Muskrats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tars will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
