Washingtonville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,473 from 7,817. The improvement was the result of a 56-17 victory over the Wizards last week.
Warwick's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brad Garcia threw for 72 yards and Chris Morgese had 40 yards receiving. On the ground Garcia contributed 186 yards. Brendan Corneby helped Warwick's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 26 yards.
Morgese was the best wideout in Section 9 AA-II this week as the Wildcats fell to Newburgh Free Academy. Morgese racked up 3 receptions for 40 yards. Corneby helped Warwick's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 26 yards.
Warwick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garcia has thrown for 514 yards and 36 touchdowns this season, while Corneby has 5 catches for 170 yards. Garcia also leads the league in rushing with 2,549 yards.
Garcia broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 58-yard run against the Goldbacks. Garcia finished the game with 186 yards on the ground as Warwick fell to Newburgh Free Academy.
