Loyola Academy has gone a perfect 5-0 against Saint Ignatius College Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Ramblers will host the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. Saint Ignatius College Prep took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Loyola Academy, who comes in off a win.

Loyola Academy hadn't beaten Glenbrook North on the road since April 15, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Ramblers had just enough and edged out the Spartans 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Loyola Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Saint Ignatius College Prep came up short against Chicago Mt. Carmel on Thursday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Loyola Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Loyola Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Saint Ignatius College Prep in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Ramblers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolfpack turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
