Several Dinos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Mortensen, who scored ten points and four blocks. Mortensen continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Bennett, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Canyon View's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Carbon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Looking ahead, Canyon View will look to defend their home court on Friday against Richfield at 7:00 p.m. Richfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season. As for Carbon, they will be playing at home against North Sanpete at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carbon is facing North Sanpete at the right time seeing as North Sanpete is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
