Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Somersworth Toppers walked away with it. They put the hurt on Raymond with a sharp  28-8 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Somersworth, who have now won six games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
 Somersworth had a senior duo take command as  Tayshawn Sheppard gained 169 total yards and three touchdowns and  Kaden Bickford rushed for 174 yards and  a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Somersworth's defense and their ten sacks. It was a group effort, with four guys contributing.
 Somersworth's win was  their ninth straight at home  (dating back to last season), which  pushed their record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.11 points. As for Raymond, their loss  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-3.
 Somersworth will square off against Newport at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Newport will be coming into the  game with an undefeated record on the line. Raymond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
