The Radnor Raptors will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Episcopal Academy Churchmen on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Radnor has not done well against Springfield recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Radnor skirted past Springfield 45-43.
Meanwhile, even though Shipley scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Episcopal Academy still came out on top. Episcopal Academy took down Shipley 69-55. Episcopal Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Radnor pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.22 points. As for Episcopal Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Radnor couldn't quite finish off Episcopal Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2016 and fell 36-34. Can Radnor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
