Lewistown and Rushville-Industry played the most hotly contested game in Prairieland - Black this week, with Lewistown eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory.
Abingdon made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,279 from 9,876. The advance stemmed from a 28-0 victory over Knoxville last week.
Astoria-Table Grove VIT's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Seth Kessler threw for 113 and one touchdown and Tyler Engel had 48 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Fulton chipped in 72 yards. Fulton helped Astoria-Table Grove VIT's passing attack out by catching two balls for 31 yards.
Astoria-Table Grove VIT's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rebels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kessler has thrown for 696 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Engel has 36 catches for 780 yards. Fulton leads the league in rushing with 498 yards.
