Pawnee City lost to Wilcox-Hildreth at home by a decisive 33-14 margin. That makes it the first time this season Pawnee City has let down their home crowd.
When it comes to explaining why Pawnee City lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jett Farwell. Despite the final result, he picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 112 yards on only 15 carries. That's the first time this season that Farwell rushed for 100 or more yards.
Gaige Ritner went supernova for Wilcox-Hildreth, rushing for 107 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 78 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
Pawnee City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 9-1 record this season. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
