The Badin Rams were the 48-32 winner over the Lakota East Thunderhawks when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Badin falling 58-40.
Among those leading the charge was Phoebe Towe, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 2 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Asher, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Badin's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lakota East, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Badin will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakota East, they will be playing at home against Archbishop Alter at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
