The Wakulla War Eagles will take on the Rickards Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakulla is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
Wakulla took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Leon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The War Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lions 5-3.

William Wright looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Wakulla is 6-1 when Wright allows one or fewer hits, but 7-9 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Wakulla's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Estep, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Owen Klees was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Rickards came up short against Madison County on Thursday, falling 14-4. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Jayden Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.
Wakulla's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rickards, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wakulla has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rickards struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Wakulla's way against Rickards in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, as Wakulla made off with an 18-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the War Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
