The Foothill Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Enterprise Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Foothill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Thursday, Foothill didn't have too much trouble with Red Bluff at home as they won 69-51. Given Foothill's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while Red Bluff is ranked 821st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tyler Zanhiser continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Van Warren, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Enterprise's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. The game between Enterprise and Shasta wasn't particularly close, with Enterprise falling 63-46.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
Foothill strolled past Enterprise in their previous matchup on January 4th by a score of 45-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foothill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
