Last Tuesday, Johns Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-36 to the Trojans. That's two games in a row now that Johns Creek has lost by exactly six points.
Meanwhile, Alpharetta came up short against the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday and fell 56-49.
Johns Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Alpharetta, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
Johns Creek beat the Raiders 69-62 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johns Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
