Woburn Memorial had won three straight home games and Mateo Qirjazi did his part to make it four on Monday. The Tanners walked away with a 3-1 win over the Arlington Spy Ponders with plenty of help from Qirjazi, who had 42 assists and five digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 13 times he's played.

The victory didn't come easy: Arlington scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 19-25, 26-24.

Woburn Memorial now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Arlington, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Woburn Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wakefield Memorial on the 14th. As for Arlington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Burlington on the 14th.
