The Thunder Basin Bolts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Green River by a score of 58-51. The win made it back-to-back wins for Thunder Basin.
Kambel Cox was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Attie Westbrook, who scored six points along with three steals.
Thunder Basin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Green River, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
Thunder Basin won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kelly Walsh on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Kelly Walsh is ranked 33rd, while Thunder Basin is ranked 39th). Green River and Pinedale will face off at 4:20 a.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Pinedale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
