After low-scoring totals in their previous three games, Branson brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the Camdenton Lakers with a sharp 10-1 win on Friday. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Paisley Pritchett, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances while posting 2 stolen bases, 3 runs, and 2 walks. She has also been pretty much perfect as far as strikeouts are concerned: she hasn't struck out any for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Autumn Wickern, who went 2-for-3 while posting 2 RBIs, 2 runs, and 1 stolen base.

Branson took advantage of their speed and finished the game with six stolen bases. They have not posted that many stolen bases since September 2nd, when they also snagged six vs. Kickapoo.

Branson moved to 12-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Camdenton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 19 of their last 20 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

Branson will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty on Saturday. As for Camdenton, they will head out to take on St. Teresa's Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
