Northside - Jacksonville took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-16 victory over the White Oak Vikings. For the Monarchs, this counts as revenge for the 48-6 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Northside - Jacksonville found their leader in sophomore REGINALD GRAY, who rushed for 63 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, and also threw for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. The Monarchs' leading receiver GAVYN DAVIS was GRAY's top target yet again, picking up 53 receiving yards, while also rushing for 55 yards.
Although White Oak took the loss, they still got scores from Brody Lombard and Montez Jimenez.
