Santa Fe is a perfect 10-0 against Texas City since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will square off against the Stingarees at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Santa Fe took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Tyler Atkins was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Brewer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Texas City had just enough and edged out Ball 7-5 on Thursday.

Santa Fe came out on top in a nail-biter against Texas City in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
