Volleyball Recap: Hilltop Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Hilltop won the last time they faced Bryan, and Brooklyn Kuszmaul did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cadets narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Golden Bears 3-2 with plenty of help from Kuszmaul, who had 37 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Hilltop who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 16-25, 25-17, 18-25, 15-8.

Hilltop has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Bryan, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hilltop has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wauseon on the 11th. As for Bryan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Archbold on the 9th.
