The Ridgeview Christian Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Regents. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgeview Christian in their matchups with Regents: they've now lost four in a row.
Regents found their leader in underclassman Kaileen Harlow, who scored 33 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harlow has scored at least a third of Regents' points. Another player making a difference was Esther Keppel, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Ridgeview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Regents, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Ridgeview Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Roanoke Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Regents, they will head out on the road to take on Fresta Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
