The Queen Anne's County Lions were successful in their previous meeting against the St. Michaels Saints, and they didn't afford St. Michaels any payback this time around. The Lions were fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past St. Michaels 80-33 at home. That was the first win for Queen Anne's County since their victory over North Dorchester two weeks ago.
Queen Anne's County's win brought them up to 12-8. St. Michaels' overall record fell to 0-18.
Queen Anne's County will square off against Colonel Richardson on Thursday. As for St. Michaels, they will face off against North Caroline on Thursday. The Saints are at home for the contest, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
