Lanai were able to grind out a solid victory over Hana last Saturday, winning 36-23. Junior Devrene Kahananui-Alejado, who picked up 159 yards on the ground and accumulated 233 passing yards, was a major factor in Lanai's success.
Meanwhile, Seabury Hall came up short against Molokai, falling 14-26. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Seabury Hall.
Lanai's win lifted them to 2-0 while Seabury Hall's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Lanai can add another positive mark to their record or if Seabury Hall can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Lanai's step.
