Grace Christian is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing New Life Camp: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Grace Christian blew New Life Camp out of the water with an 80-18 final score. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Grace Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Speller, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine assists. Speller's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndoll English, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.
Speller wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Grace Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Life Camp only racked up four assists.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Asheville Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. They snuck past the Eagles with a 69-64 win.
Grace Christian better keep an eye on Sara Larios. She was instrumental in Asheville Christian Academy's win, going 11-for-19 from beyond the arc on her way to 44 points along with seven assists and three steals. Larios is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ansley Fuchs, who went 5-for-6 en route to 10 points and five assists.
Asheville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Grace Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.
Grace Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Asheville Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win.
