Jessie Crye posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 23 over 8.1 innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her third straight with 13 or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Crye and Avon will head out to square off against Le Roy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Crye's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Braves' five-game streak of wins on the road.
