The Saratoga Panthers and the Burns Broncs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Saratoga has three straight wins, Burns has 18 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Little Snake River scored an imposing 64 points on Saturday, Saratoga still came out on top. Saratoga walked away with a 74-64 win over Little Snake River.
Meanwhile, Burns was beaten by Douglas 79-20 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burns has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Burns struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.
Saratoga's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Burns, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Saratoga strolled past Burns in their previous matchup back in February of 2021 by a score of 66-51. Does Saratoga have another victory up their sleeve, or will Burns turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
