Riverside Prep lost to Oxford Academy back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Silver Knights blew past the Patriots 13-4. Considering the Silver Knights have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jazlyne Torres looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Denise Hernandez was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Daisy Hernandez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
