The Palmetto Ridge Bears will take on the Aubrey Rogers Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Palmetto Ridge is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Barron Collier. Even though they lost, the Bears' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.5 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Teagan Delashmet was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Skyler Howell was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Even though they lost, Palmetto Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Aubrey Rogers didn't have quite enough to beat Gulf Coast on Thursday and fell 19-18. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.
Aubrey Rogers got a massive performance out of Sophia Truchan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Jayline Martinez, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4.
Having lost for the first time this season, Aubrey Rogers fell to 2-1. As for Palmetto Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Palmetto Ridge has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Aubrey Rogers struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
