The Wakefield Wolverines will face off against the Sanderson Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Sanderson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against Knightdale by a score of 3-1.
In the three sets Sanderson was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 21-25, 25-14, 25-14.
Wakefield came out on top in a nail-biter against Sanderson when the teams last played back in August of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
