The Saint Francis Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Salinas Cowboys at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Saint Francis will be looking to keep their 21-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
 Last Friday, Saint Francis faced Archbishop Mitty in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Saint Francis skirted past Archbishop Mitty  10-8. Saint Francis' victory was all the more impressive since Archbishop Mitty was averaging only 2.21 runs allowed on the season.
  Kate Munnerlyn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 17 batters over  9.2 innings while giving up  four earned runs off   seven  hits. Munnerlyn has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Munnerlyn was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Rebecca Quinn was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Jaime Oakland was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Salinas narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Stevenson  5-4.
 Saint Francis' victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Salinas, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season.
 Saint Francis was able to grind out a solid  win over Salinas in their previous matchup  back in March of 2018, winning  6-2. Will Saint Francis repeat their success,  or does  Salinas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
