Video: MaxPreps Preseason Sophomore All-American Football TeamFootball Editor Zack Poff takes a look at the elite players in the Class of 2021 from across the country. The Class of 2021 is loaded with some big-time players, and we feature 60 of the best in our preseason sophomore All-American teams. The three first-team quarterbacks already have received 70 Division I offers. The set of skill position players is absolutely loaded and an NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver's son is on the second team playing for one of the best high school football programs in the country.
The Lone Star State leads the way with 10 players selected. The only other three states that features at least seven player or more are — California (8), Florida (8), and Georgia (7). The DMV area is also well represented as six players come from either Washington, D.C., Maryland or Virginia.
Four schools had multiple players chosen: St. John's (Washington, D.C.) leads the way with three, while Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Booker T. Washington (Miami), and Katy Taylor (Katy, Texas) all had two players selected.
First Team OffenseQB — Sam Huard, 6-1, 175, Kennedy Catholic (Burien, Wash.)The reigning MaxPreps Freshman of the Year threw for nearly 3,500 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2017. Expect the offers to keep coming for the Pacific Northwest talent.
QB — Aaron McLaughlin, 6-4, 225, Buford (Ga.)The next great Georgia quarterback from the Class of 2021 is McLaughlin. He has already landed 29 Division I offers.
QB — Preston Stone, 6-2, 185, Parish Epsicopal School (Dallas) Speaking of offers, no one has more than the quarterback down in Dallas. Stone has already received 38 D-I offers. He threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns during his freshman season.
RB — Amari Daniels, 5-8, 185, Jackson (Miami)The former Miami Central running back will be playing his sophomore season at Jackson after his dad took a job on the Generals' coaching staff. He made an impact during his freshman year with the Rockets despite a very crowded backfield led by
James Cook. Daniels has landed nearly 20 Division I offers led by Florida State, Georgia, Miami and Texas A&M.
RB — Armoni Goodwin, 5-8, 170, Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, Ala.)Goodwin was a special freshman last year for Florence (Ala.). Against his new team, he rushed for 393 yards and is a nice addition to an already loaded Huskies team expected to be major players in 7A this year.
RB — Seven McGee, 5-9, 175, Wilson Magnet (Rochester, N.Y.)The 2021 Oregon commit played both ways during his freshman year at Grace Brethren (Simi Valley, Calif.) and rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns.
WR — Jacorey Brooks, 6-3, 170, Booker T. Washington (Miami)Brooks is one of the most gifted players in high school football and his stock will continue to rise. The talented wideout from Miami could be the No. 1 recruit from 2021.
WR — Shadrach Banks, 6-0, 190, North Shore (Houston)North Shore is loaded with a bunch of good underclassmen. 5-star running back Zachary Evans was a first team preseason junior All-American and Banks, along with Dematrius Davis are featured on the sophomore squad.
WR — Beaux Collins, 6-3, 185, St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.)Collins is a name to keep tabs on this season. He plays for the No. 1 team in the country and expect him to be an impact target for
DJ Uiagalelei in 2018.
TE — Jack Hollifield, 6-2, 215, Shelby (N.C.)The Golden Lions have already produced one big-time Hollifield and up next is the younger brother, Jack. Older brother,
Dax Hollifield, begins his freshman season at Virginia Tech this year and was a Top 200 recruit overall in the Class of 2018. The younger Hollifield is on the same track, he is a beast on both sides of the ball.

OL — Marcus Tate, 6-5, 265, University School of Nova (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)When 247Sports releases its Class of 2021 rankings there is a good chance Marcus Tate takes home the No. 1 spot. He has already landed nearly 20 Division I offers and is an absolute monster on the offensive line.
OL — George Miki-Han, 6-1, 300, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)Miki-Han played valuable downs last year as a freshman for the best offensive line in the country. The Monarchs graduated three of the five spots on the line, so he will take more of a leader role in 2018 despite being a sophomore.
OL — Reuben Fatheree, 6-7, 285, Foster (Richmond, Texas)Alabama and Georgia are just a few of the Division I schools eyeing Fatheree, who will be one of the highest rated players from Texas when the Class of 2021 rankings drop.
OL — Hayden Conner, 6-5.5, 300, Katy Taylor (Katy, Texas)Nearly 20 D-I teams are already vying for the Mustangs' talented offensive lineman.
OL — Micah Morris, 6-5, 295, Camden County (Kingsland, Ga.)The Wildcats star checks all the boxes when looking for a big-time offensive lineman and already has offers from Alabama, Florida State, Florida, Clemson, Auburn and a dozen more.
AP — Ty Keyes, 6-0, 180, Taylorsville (Miss.)Keyes is the real deal after leading the Tartars to a 2A state title. He finished last year with 4,562 yards passing and 45 touchdowns. He added another near 600 yards on the ground with eight more scores.
AP — Shedeur Sanders, 6-0, 175, Trinity Christian (Cedar Hill, Texas)The talented quarterback had a legit freshman campaign. He threw for nearly 2,500 yards and 34 touchdowns leading the Tigers to a state title after going 4-6 the year prior. The son of NFL Hall of Fame defensive back Deion Sanders has already landed a handful of Division I offers led by Florida State, Florida, LSU and Oregon. "Primetime" was a huge factor on the coaching staff last year along with another former Dallas Cowboy, Aveion Cason.
First Team Defense
DL — Tyreak Sapp, 6-2, 235, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)Sapp is one of the most gifted defensive players in the country and could be the next great defensive end in a long line from the Raiders.
DL — Korey Foreman, 6-4, 245, Centennial (Corona, Calif.)The talented defensive end/outside linebacker has already landed a handful of Division I offers led by USC, Washington and Arizona. The Huskies will have one of the best set of edge rushers this year with Foreman and 4-star defensive end
Drake Jackson.
DL — Jonathan Jefferson, 6-3, 215, Douglas County (Douglasville, Ga.)The big-time freshman campaign ended with nearly 60 tackles and 12 sacks. Jefferson already has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon and a handful of other schools. Expect the offers to keep coming for the talented defensive end.
DL — Damon Payne, 6-4, 255, Belleville (Mich.)Another name that could take home the No. 1 spot when the 2021 rankings get dropped by 247Sports, Payne already landed 20 D-I offers including Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Florida State. His 5-star teammate
Devontae Dobbs, one of the top offensive lineman in the Class of 2019, make each other better in practice every single day.
LB — Ma'a Gaoteote, 6-1, 200, Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas)The 2021 USC commit is following the same footsteps as his older brother,
Palaie Gaoteote, a 5-star linebacker for Las Vegas power Bishop Gorman and now at USC. The younger Gaoteote is creating his own legacy for the Crusaders and will end up being one of the top linebackers from the Class of 2021.
LB — Kendrick Blackshire, 6-2, 230, Horn (Mesquite, Texas)The talented linebacker has already landed offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU and a handful of other big-time schools.
LB — Chaz Chambliss, 6-3, 220, Carrollton (Ga.)Chambliss was an absolute beast during his freshman campaign, finishing with 97 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and forced two fumbles. He has already landed nearly 25 Division I offers.
LB — Aaron Willis, 6-0, 200, St. Frances Academy (Baltimore)Willis is one of four players on the front seven for the No. 7 Panthers to be featured on the
Preseason All-American team or j
unior team, joining 2019 Alabama commit

DB — A.J. Kirk, 6-0, 180, Dublin Coffman (Dublin, Ohio)It is rare for freshman to start at Dublin Coffman, but Kirk was just that good. He has already landed a handful of offers and expect Ohio State to be a major player. His older brother, Mike Doss, was a three-time, first-team All-American (2000, 2001, 2002) for the Buckeyes and helped lead them to the 2002 BCS National Championship.
DB — Derrick Davis, 6-0, 175, Gateway (Monroeville, Pa.)Davis played a major role as a freshman and helped the Gators to their first WPIAL football championship in 31 years. He can line up anywhere on the field and be a factor. He finished last year with nearly 1,000 yards of total offense, 10 touchdowns, 97 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two interceptions.
DB — Jaylin Davies, 6-0, 150, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)The secondary is already loaded with 5-star

DB — James Williams, 6-3, 200, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)Getting Williams, the 2021 Miami commit, was a huge addition for Patrick Surtain, who lost a lot of talent after a Top 5 finish. Williams is one of the most special players overall in Florida.
AP — Julien Simon, 6-2, 215, Lincoln (Tacoma, Wash.)There might not of been a hotter name heading into their sophomore year. Simon was landing offers from everyone, for good reason. He is one of the best players overall from the Class of 2021.
Second Team Offense
QB — Caleb Williams, 6-0, 190, Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.)The DMV area is big-time for high school football and a team to keep a close eye on this year is the Eagles. They are loaded with talent and have one of the top young quarterbacks in the country in Williams.
QB — Jake Garcia, 6-2, 185, Narbonne (Harbor City, Calif.)The Long Beach Poly transfer has a chance to be the top rated quarterback in 2021. He begins his sophomore season for the Gauchos, and even if he has to sit out the first month of the season because of CIF transfer rules expect Garcia to be in an impact player when eligible. He's already landed offers from USC, LSU, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Nebraska and a handful of other schools.
QB — Miller Moss, 6-1.5, 180, Alemany (Mission Hills, Calif.)The talented quarterback is in position to take over under center for new head Casey Clausen, who returns to his alma mater. Moss has looked phenomenal during the offseason.
RB — Carson Steele, 5-11, 200, Center Grove (Greenwood, Ind.)Steele was an impact freshman for a major player in Indiana last season. The talented running back rushed for 1,700 plus yards and 20 touchdowns, averaging nearly 150 yards per game.
RB — Elijah Howard, 5-11, 165, Webb (Knoxville, Tenn.)Howard has been one of the hottest names in Tennessee before he even started his freshman year. Expect the offers to keep coming for one of the most talented running backs from the Class of 2021.
RB — Kelston Fikes, 5-9.5, 190, Leroy (Ala.)Fikes was second nationally among all freshman, rushing for 1,980 yards and 24 touchdowns. He enters 2018 riding a ton of momentum after rushing for at least 100 yards in his final seven games of 2017.
WR — Marvin Harrison Jr., 6-3.5, 175, St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia)The
son of NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison will play for the Hawks after a
good freshman season at La Salle College (Wyndmoor, Pa.). The younger Harrison already landed an offer from his dad's alma mater — Syracuse.
WR — Quenton Barnes, 6-2, 175, Cane Ridge (Nashville, Tenn.)The offers keep coming for one of the most talented wide receivers from the Class of 2021. He is up to 10 now after an impressive freshman campaign.
WR — Quincy Brown, 6-3, 175, Destrehan (La.)His combination of size and speed makes him for one of the toughest covers in the country. Brown and 5-star running back
John Emery Jr. help give the Wildcats one of the top duos in Louisiana.
TE — Jack Sawyer, 6-5, 220, Pickerington North (Pickerington, Ohio)Sawyer is an absolute nightmare on both sides of the football. Expect big things in 2018 for one of the top teams in Ohio.
OL — Laurence Seymore, 6-1, 270, Central (Miami)The 2021 Miami commit should play a major role during his sophomore campaign for the No. 13 team in the Preseason Top 25.
OL — Bryce Foster, 6-4.5, 290, Katy Taylor (Katy, Texas)Foster joins his teammate, Hayden Conner, as preseason sophomore All-Americans. They are two of the best offensive lineman in all of Texas regardless of class.

OL — Jaeden Roberts, 6-6, 320, Aquinas (Overland Park, Kan.)Roberts is one of the most intimidating figures in high school football. Expect the offers to keep coming for one of the best players overall from Kansas.
OL — Colin Henrich, 6-3, 285, St. John's (Washington, D.C.)The Cadets landed three players on the preseason junior All-American squad and follow that with a trio on the sophomore team — Henrich, Antwain Littleton and Taizse Johnson.
OL — Kingsley Suamataia, 6-4, 280, Orem (Utah)The versatile offensive lineman played a major role last year in helping the Tigers win their first state title since 1994. The talented sophomore already has offers from USC, Oregon, Michigan and a dozen other Division I offers.
AP — Dematrius Davis, 5-10, 180, North Shore (Houston)Davis made an immediate impact during his freshman season and expect an even bigger year in 2018.
AP — Antwain Littleton, 6-0, 265, St. John's (Washington, D.C.)Littleton is their version of Mike Alstott and he won't be fun to tackle after 2019 Alabama commit
Keilan Robinson tires out the defense. Expect Littleton to be a factor all over the field for the No. 6 team in our Preseason Top 25.
Second Team Defense DL — Keanu Williams, 6-5, 250, Clovis (Calif.)Expect the offers to keep coming for one the Cougar who posted 56 tackles, five sacks and 10 tackles for loss during his freshman season.
DL — Katron Evans, 6-4, 265, Granby (Norfolk, Va.)The talented defensive lineman has been getting major D-I offers left and right. He already has 15 offers and expect more to keep coming.
DL — Taizse Johnson, 6-2, 270, St. John's (Washington, D.C.)Johnson is the third and final player represented from the Cadets. He will help form one of the most talented front sevens in high school football.
DL — J.T. Tuimoloau, 6-4.5, 275, Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wash.)A name to keep a close on is Tuimoloau, a big-time player for the loaded Crusaders. He has already landed offers from Alabama, USC, Oregon, Stanford, Florida and a handful of other schools.
LB — Donell Harris, 6-5, 210, Booker T. Washington (Miami)Ice Harris has a ton of talented underclassmen heading into the 2018 season led by Harris and Jacorey Brooks.
LB — Branden Jennings, 6-3, 220, Sandalwood (Jacksonville, Fla.)The Sunshine State is well represented on the preseason sophomore All-American team and one of the best from the Jacksonville area is Jennings.
LB — Baron Hopson, 6-0, 205, Lee County (Leesburg, Ga.)Hopson was one of the most productive freshman in the country last year. He had over 100 tackles and played a major role in leading Lee County to its first ever state title.
LB — Zyrus Fiaseu, 6-1, 200, Liberty (Henderson, Nev.)Fiaseu is a coach's dream — he can play all over the field on both sides of the ball. Expect an even bigger role in 2018 for the talented sophomore.

DB — Anthony Beavers Jr., 6-2, 180, Serra (Gardena, Calif.)UCLA, USC, Arizona State, Florida, Oregon, and a handful of other schools have already offered the two-way playmaker. The Cavaliers are known for producing big-time players and Beavers is one to keep an eye on.
DB — Kamar Wilcoxson, 6-2, 185, Stephenson (Stone Mountain, Ga.)The Jaguars are loaded with a bunch of talented underclassmen led by Wilcoxson. Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M are already some of the schools to offer a scholarship.
DB — Jaquez Smith, 6-1, 190, Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, Ga.)Smith is one of the best defensive backs from the Class of 2021, and the former Marietta (Ga.) star will be a vital piece for Hapevillle Charter in 2018.
DB — Hunter Washington, 6-1, 165, Katy (Texas)Washington played major minutes as a freshman and expect his role to grow even more in 2018. He could end up being the top defensive back from Texas in the Class of 2021.
AP — Landon Jackson, 6-4, 210, Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, Texas)Jackson was a huge factor in leading Pleasant Grove to the 4A-Division II state title during his freshman season. He finished the year with 98 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and an interception.
