Cumberland Valley Christian is 0-3 against Carroll Christian since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers will head out on the road to face off against Carroll Christian at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Cumberland Valley Christian, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-39 loss to New Life Christian. Cumberland Valley Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Carroll Christian had to suffer through a rough 76-35 loss at the hands of Mount Airy Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Carroll Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Mount Airy Christian Academy is ranked 36th).
Cumberland Valley Christian now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Carroll Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Cumberland Valley Christian couldn't quite finish off Carroll Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 and fell 67-64. Can Cumberland Valley Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
