It was a good run, but St. David unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by the Grace Christian Crusaders 63-9. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Anna Hauser was St. David's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Grace Christian found their leader in sophomore Jordan Speller, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists. Speller also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Grace Christian is 12-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kyndoll English, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

St. David's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Grace Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

When St. David's and Grace Christian next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. David's will face off against Trinity Academy and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grace Christian will try to stop Terry Sanford's five-game winning streak when the meet at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
