After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Christian, Santiam was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 1-0 win over the Gervais Cougars. The one-point effort marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
