Last Friday, Mission Oak was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to Dinuba. Mission Oak has struggled against Dinuba recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
The losing side was boosted by Daniel Gonzalez, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Malakai Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Highland pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-62 to Ridgeview. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (58), Highland still had to take the loss.
Mission Oak has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
