Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Hoke out in front who scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Schindler, who scored 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Boyd County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Friday's match is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Boyd County have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 38.6% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] struggles in that department as they've made 43.3% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
