Basketball Game Preview: Argos Dragons vs. Glenn Falcons

Argos is 0-4 against Glenn since November of 2014 but things could change on Thursday. The Argos Dragons will welcome the Glenn Falcons at 7:30 p.m.

Argos is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Winamac. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Warriors are ranked 152nd).

Argos' defeat came about despite a quality game from Morgyn Barcus, who posted 14 points in addition to four steals and three blocks. With that strong performance, Barcus is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Alydiah Leed, who put up 11 points along with five boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Glenn posted their closest win since November 4, 2023 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-33 victory over Plymouth.

Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Argos, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
