Parkview Baptist waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Albany Hornets get on the board and left with  a   4-0  win. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered  a  2-1  loss the last time these two teams met.
The result came thanks to  Jalayah Slaughter's shutout, as she gave up just a  hit and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Jolie Gawlik was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lily Hammonds, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple and two  RBI.

 Looking ahead, Parkview Baptist will head out to  take on St. Michael  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Albany, they will welcome Loranger  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
