Archbishop McNicholas is a perfect 10-0 against Archbishop Alter since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Archbishop McNicholas fell victim to Bishop Fenwick and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Natalie Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Archbishop McNicholas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Anstaett, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Alter came up short against Oakwood on Tuesday and fell 11-6.

Archbishop Alter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Archbishop McNicholas, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Archbishop McNicholas took their win against Archbishop Alter in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
