For Todd County Central, this counts as revenge for the 62-50 loss Hopkinsville walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.
Todd County Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexis Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Taylor has scored at least 25% of Todd County Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Williams, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds.
Todd County Central's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hopkinsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Todd County Central will head out on the road to face off against Edmonson County at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edmonson County will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Hopkinsville will be home for the holidays to greet Graves County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Graves County is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
