Easton were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the match and then some with a 48-8 victory over Cox on Saturday. Followers of Easton probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The win (their 3rd in a row) raised Easton's record to 6-1. Cox's loss pushes them down to 5-3.
Easton will square off against McDonogh 35 at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Easton, McDonogh 35 will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Cox, they will go up against Edna Karr. Edna Karr are cruising in on a eight-game winning streak.
