Bonneville has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Northridge Knights at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Bonneville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday.
Last Monday, Bonneville came up short against Cyprus and fell 64-52.
Despite the defeat, Bonneville had strong showings from Sidnee Geerdes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Whitni Johnson, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Moss, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Northridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-37 defeat at the hands of Woods Cross. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Northridge struggled afterwards.
Bonneville has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Northridge, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Bonneville lost to Northridge on the road by a decisive 48-34 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Bonneville, Madison Hosino (who scored 22 points along with eight assists and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
