The Fletcher Senators will head out on the road to face off against the Mandarin Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Fletcher's defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so Mandarin's offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Friday, Fletcher didn't have too much trouble with Flagler Palm Coast as they won 28-12. Given the Senators' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 209th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fletcher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diondre Smith, who picked up 12 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards. The Senators also got a significant boost from Ja'Mez Williams, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.
Meanwhile, Mandarin took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 38-10 win over Rockledge. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Mandarin's win came from a few key players Fletcher will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyree Wilson, who rushed for 102 yards and two TDs on only six carries. Brysen Wright was another key pass catcher, picking up 156 receiving yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mandarin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockledge only rushed for 90.
Mandarin pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Fletcher, their record now sits at 5-2.
Fletcher couldn't quite get it done against Mandarin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 8-0. Can the Senators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
