West Central were able to grind out a solid win over Lennox on Thursday, winning 34-22. The success made it back-to-back wins for West Central.
It took a quarter to shake off the cobwebs, but after zero first-quarter points, the West Central offense picked up 21 points in the second quarter. Lennox wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 21-7 heading into the break. West Central were outperformed in the second half 13-15 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
West Central's victory brought them up to 5-4. Lennox's loss makes it six in a row and drags their record down to 3-6.
