Fountain Hills and Scottsdale Christian Academy are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Fountain Hills Falcons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Fountain Hills is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Camp Verde, falling 22-6.

Mia Espinoza was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Kenadie Meyen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Even though they lost, Fountain Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Camp Verde only posted a batting average of .304.
Meanwhile, Scottsdale Christian Academy had to endure a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Red Rock by a score of 12-9 on Monday.
Madeleine (Maddie) Ketchum made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Ketchum was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evin Ott, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Chloe Loop was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Fountain Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything went Fountain Hills' way against Scottsdale Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Fountain Hills made off with a 24-3 victory.
