In what's become a running theme this season, the Fieldston Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Horace Mann 56-22 on the road. The victory was just what Fieldston needed coming off of a 72-36 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fieldston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarah Weinick, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jade ling Eng-stewart, who scored 15 points.
Fieldston is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Horace Mann, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fieldston will take on Avenues The World School at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Horace Mann, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Poly Prep Country Day at 4:30 p.m.
