Simon Kenton took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Conner. Simon Kenton has not had much luck with Conner recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Simon Kenton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Travis Krohman, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bach, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Simon Kenton's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Conner, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.
Simon Kenton will take on Gallatin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Conner, they will head out on the road to square off against Beechwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beechwood is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
