Centennial has gone 8-2 against Kellis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Coyotes will venture away from home to square off against the Cougars at 3:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Centennial has ten straight wins, Kellis has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Centennial got the win against Notre Dame Prep by a conclusive 10-1. Considering the Coyotes have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
JT Price was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, William Strand was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Liu Rodriguez Jr was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Centennial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Kellis fell victim to Youngker and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Roughriders, falling 11-0.
Centennial pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Kellis, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Kellis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Centennial has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .474. It's a different story for Kellis, though, as they've only averaged .357. Will they be able to contain Centennial's hitters?
Centennial took their victory against Kellis when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
